Patient HERO interview: Cinde Dolphin – KILI Medical Drain Carrier

Cinde Dolphin has been through many surgeries and got frustrated with the antiquated, inconvenient, and potentially dangerous standard way of safety pinning surgical drains to her hospital gown or clothing.  So, she invented a small drain apron-like pouch to carry the drains in.  A patient can shower, move around more easily and sooner, and have a much more dignified existence while tubes and drains are still hanging out of one's body after a surgery.

We are on board with the concept of galvanizing the patient community to make healthcare by the people and for the people. Thanks Patients United for elevating the subject of patient inclusion.
